Walt Kasmir, Ph.D., is a human potential expert and globally sought-after motivational speaker. He lectures, trains, and consults throughout the continental United States, Africa, and the UK on grief, stress management, The Faith-Factor in Psychoneuroimmunology, and mental agility.
We’ll walk with you on your journey of healing, meaning-making, and resilience. Dr. Kasmir developed expertise in grief during his clinical experience as a hospice nurse. He’s helped thousands face end-of-life issues with dignity and grace.
He’s also the founder of The Neuro-Maestro® Performance Institute, which distributes healing audio programs worldwide.
Dr. Kasmir is a Fellow of the American Academy of Grief Counseling (FAAGC) and is considered one of America’s preeminent Grief & Life Coaches.

My Story
I was just like many of you…I’ve suffered many trials, disappointments, discrimination, frustration, and living beneath my true potential.
With the support of an ever-loving wife, I tapped into my innate resilience, went to work on my own “thought-life,” personal growth, and wellness: a total transformation! Using the same strategies and techniques, I can now guide you through your transformation journey.
My Background
I’ve spent over 25 years in healthcare, starting as a Fireman-Paramedic. While working full-time, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and, later, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Akron.
I developed expertise in human behavior from working in various specialties: emergency medicine, dialysis, psychiatry, case management, and hospice—just to name a few.
I continue to hone my expert communication and interpersonal skills pursuing continuing education: Certified Senior Advisor®, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (BCPC), Certified Pastoral Thanatologist (PT-CSp), and a Certified Spiritual Life Coach with a Ph.D. in Transformative Science.
